Obituary of Matthew William Pearce

It is with heavy hearts the family of Matthew Pearce announce his passing on November 12th, 2015 in Prince George, B.C. Survived by his loving parents Robert and Janice Pearce of Ailsa Craig and beloved sister Caitlin (Keith) Lacy of Brooklin, Ontario. Special Uncle of Connor Lacy. Matthew will be sadly missed by his Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Matt was a brave warrior who faced many challenges, but he had a caring soul which touched the lives of, and made profound impacts on, the many people he met. He was often more willing to help others than deal with his own issues. He was an old soul at a young age, and he lived an active and eventful life. He frequently found solace by wandering alone in the wilderness. Matthew’s spirit now soars with the hawks. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27th, 2015 from 6-9p.m at Denning’s of Ailsa Craig. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28th at 11a.m at the Grace Anglican Church, Ilderton, lunch to follow the service. Cremation has occurred. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation or the Grace Anglican Church, Ilderton.
