Obituary of Geoffrey Harold Siddall
Siddall, Geoffrey
Geoffrey Harold Siddall, 64, of Komoka, passed away on June, 10th, 2022 after a sudden brief illness. Geoff was born on May 1st, 1958 to George & Betty Siddall of Belleville in Wallaceburg. Deeply missed, Geoff was the husband of Janice (nee Leighton) of Komoka, and father of Michael Leighton Siddall of London. Geoff was predeceased by parents George and Betty Siddall (Tulpholme) of Belleville, and Ian and Janet Leighton (Cadogan) of Roseneath Landing, brother Robert Carlyle Siddall of Ilderton, and sister-in-law Jane Sharpe of Colborne. He is survived by brothers Howard Siddall (Robyn) of Colborne, John Reynolds Siddall (Karen) of London, and sister-in-law Ruth Siddall (Bob) of Ilderton. Geoff is also missed by nieces and nephews, Robert Todd Siddall (Christine), Charlotte & Henry of Ailsa Craig, Janet Siddall Smith (Brad), & Britain of Springbank. Dearly missed by Ian and Ida Cadogan, Robert, Emeryld and Austin Cadogan of Oshawa and many neighbours and friends. Special thanks to Sarah, Allen, Caleb, Elijah, Gannon & Shaye, Declan & Quinlan, Eric & Kerry for all of their love and support during this trying time.
Geoff loved all sports, particularly hockey, baseball and golf. He was a member of the Fanshawe Gaggle, Past President and active member of the Ilderton Lions Club and a diehard Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 from 1:00p.m.-4:00p.m. and 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG. A funeral service will be held at the Ailsa Craig Recreational Centre on Thursday, June 16th, 2022 at 11:00a.m. Interment to follow at Carlisle Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made the Ilderton Lions Club, the Epilepsy Unit of LHSC or a charity of one’s choice, are greatly appreciated by the family.
