Just wanted to express my condolences on the passing of Bill to all your family. As a teacher at Saunders and also a Ford trade School graduate, we spent many times together. Bill was an excellent machinist. He also planned a number of meetings and had a unique way of getting things done. I`m sure he will be missed. We often think of him and I`m sure you will miss him. Hi Pat,Brad, Ann and family Bill was a genius in his own way. As a teacher he mentored everyone he came across, including Wayne and me. I fondly remember our far ranging conversations on our commutes with Bill. He made an impression. We had the most fun one fall building up a regional treasure map along the concessions for locating clumps of wild asparagus. This was a bit before GPS but the next May Bill dug out the map and we located, foraged for and snacked on fresh asparagus all the way home. A fun experience! I am grateful to have called this man a friend. ❤

We were so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. You have our deepest sympathy. A legend of Rabbit Lake has left us. We are grateful for all the wonderful times and memories we shared with your Dad. I was always excited to go with my grandfather to see Bill and just listen to them talk. I always left amazed at the knowledge he had. My grandfather always spoke in amazement at your Dads skills with everything. Like everyone we will miss him dearly.
Our condolences

My deepest condolences. I had several classes with Mr Davies from 78-82. He was a great teacher and truly cared about his students. My Dad worked in the industry and always said, you couldn’t spend 4 years with Bill Davies and not learn something. His name plate said “Festus the fastest buzzard in the west”. He made a difference in my life. A truly great man who will be missed.

Mr. Davies as we knew him at Beal Secondary school taught us a lot about life.He was a great machine shop teacher and I went on to become a tool and die maker just as he was! Back then the school often arranged our apprenticeship start out. Mr. Davies always instilled upon us that we needed to do a good job at our apprenticeships so the next year‘s class would have the same opportunity! My condolences to the extended family, you have lost a great a great man.
