Our family was saddened to hear first of Viola’s passing and then Lyle’s soon after. We regret that we did not go to their visitations but we did not hear about them till after they took place.We lived beside Lyle and Vi for 18 years and they were both great neighbours. Lyle had every tool you could possibly need and since this was our first house, Mark often went over to borrow something. Lyle would not only lend the tool but would come over and give his advise on how to fix things. They both enjoyed sitting on their front porch and we would often talk with them when they were out there. When the kids were young and Mark was busy working I would look out my front window in the winter and there would be Lyle snowblowing our laneway out. They were an important part of our lives and they will be greatly missed.
