Obituary of Alfred Fursman

Suddenly at home, on January 5th, 2018, at the age of 79. Predeceased by his parents John (1993) and Josephine (2005) and siblings Walter (1993), William (2010) and Pamela (2013). Partner and husband for 42 years to Cathie. Adored and supportive father to Jeff (Anita) Fursman and Danielle (Joe) Lima. Cherished grandpa to Sarah, Katelyn and Chris Fursman and Nicholas Lima. He will be missed by several nieces and nephews. 

Born in Birzebbuga, Malta, Fred immigrated to Canada in 1959. A business owner and employer to many for 25 years, he was a generous, caring person who loved his family fiercely. He lived his life fully and passionately pursued his interests. Warm appreciation to all who have shown their love and support. 

Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG on Friday, January 12^th, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 4:00pm. Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (159 Ann St, Parkhill, ON) on Saturday, January 13^th at 11 a.m. Father Tony Laforet officiating. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Share a memory at www.denning.ca.
