Obituary of Dorothy Lalich McKichan

Mrs. Dorothy (Dragica) Lalich McKichan passed away, Monday, September 29, 2014 at the age of 70. Mrs. McKichan was born September 28, 1944 in Drenoc-Klanac, Brlok, Yugoslavia to Ilija and Kata Buterin Lalic. Dorothy attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, actively attended many car shows and in her younger years enjoyed playing golf, baseball and volleyball. She was the owner of Lawn Care service companies in both Canada and in Elkin. In addition to her parents she is preceded by her husband, Donald Gordon McKichan, her brother George Lalich and his wife Ann. Dorothy is survived by her son Timothy Paul McKichan and fiancée Amy Kepley of Mooresville; brother, Milan Lalich and wife Strina Ankica of Ontario, Canada as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Ailsa Craig Community Hall on Saturday, October 11th at 2 p.m. Bill Denning celebrant. Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
