Obituary of Earl Seymour Ross

At his home on Thursday, September 18th, 2014. Earl Seymour Ross of Ailsa Craig in his 74th year. Predeceased by his wife Bonnie Ross (2005). Loving and dear father of Faye Llewellyn of Montague, PEI, Liz (Trevor) Moore of Ailsa Craig and Lisa (Jim) Vanderwal of Ailsa Craig and father in law of Terry Llewellyn of Bridgetown, PEI. Loving grandpa of Mike (Jess), Kristi (Cory), Catherine (Josh), Richard, Mark, Sarah and Tori and great grandpa of RJ, Ryder and Ellie. Dear nephew of Pearl Ross of Dundas, PEI and Marion Matheson of Souris, PEI. Best friend of Jerry Thompson. Earl was an entrepreneur, a businessman, avid race fan and racer. Earl was the 1974 NASCAR rookie of the year and was inducted into the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame as well as many other accolades from an incredibly successful career. He was known as “The Canadian Racing Legend”. Friends may call at the T. Stephenson & Son Funeral Home in Ailsa Craig on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Ailsa Craig Community Hall on Wednesday at 11 am.
