Obituary of Ernest Alward

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, April 5, 2014, Ernest Laverne Alward of Strathroy passed away in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Betty Alward (2010). Loving father of Mike (Shirley) of Hamilton, Larry (Pam) of Beamsville, Linda Gray (late Walter Smith), and Debbie Wierenga (Hank) of Sarnia. Cherished grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by extended family and friends. Ernie was a dedicated employee for Superior Propane for many years. In accordance to Ernie's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. In memory of Ernie, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy.
