Obituary of Marilyn Gunn

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marilyn Gunn (nee Walker), a dear wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marilyn passed away peacefully in Wallaceburg on Monday, March 4th, 2013 with her husband Russ by her side, in her 71st year. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Walker, and sister of Jack Walker (deceased) and his wife Jeanette. She leaves behind her husband and best friend Charles Russell (Rus) Gunn of Wallaceburg, along with her children Mike Windis (Linda) of Woodstock, Robert and Wendy Windis of Strathroy, David Windis of Petrolia, Joe Windis (Nancy) of Cathcart, and Nancy Windis (Paul) of Wyoming, Ontario. She was the grandmother of Mike, Adam, Justin, Shelby and Cody, and great grandmother of Jace and Jordan, and also her much loved companion Tasha, her dog. Friends will be received on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 1:00 pm with Reverend Julia Sinclair officiating. Interment to follow in Alvinston Cemetery.
