Obituary of Joao Goulart

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Friday, May 7, 2004. Joao (John) Goulart of Strathroy in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Maura. Loving father of John and Kim Goulart of Strathroy, Lory Goulart of Burlington and Janet Goulart of Ottawa. Dear grandfather of Mathew and baby to be. Survived by his sisters, Albertina Soares, Maria Freitas and Rosa Xavier and brothers, George Goulart, Manuel Teixeira and Antonio Goulart. Predeceased by brothers Jose Teixeira and Albert Goulart. Remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Friends will be received at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday May 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, May 10 at 11 AM with Father John Sharp officiating. Interment in All Saints Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Brain Tumour Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
