Obituary of Elva Blair

At Strathmere Lodge Strathroy on Friday February 4th, 2005 Elva Blair (Ballantyne) formerly of Caradoc Twp. in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the Late William Blair (1987). Dear mother of Helen and Evan Mills of Mt. Brdyges and Donald and Carolyn Blair of Florida; also loved by grandchildren Mary-Lou Gough, London, Lynn Denning, Mt. Brydges, Bonnie Paquette, Sudbury and Elizabeth Forman of Kerwood. Also she will be missed by 6 great-grandchildren. Elva is survived by her brother Louis Ballantyne of Strathroy and nieces and nephews and predeceased by many brothers and sisters and her parents George and Ethel (Phillips) Ballantyne. Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, February 6 from 7-9 PM where funeral service will be held on Monday February 7 at 11 AM with Thelma Perry and Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
