Obituary of Katie Solcz

Peacefully at Babcock Nursing Home in Wardsville on Thursday, August 23rd, 2006, Katie Solcz in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Martin (1978). Katie will be remembered by her children Vince (Peggy) Solcz, Mary (Cy) Lefaivre, Helen (Doug) Burrell and Marty Solcz. Katie is survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Katie is also survived by a brother and sister in Europe and several nieces and nephews from Windsor. Visitation will be held at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home in Strathroy on Friday, August 25th, from 6-8 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at All Saints Parish in Strathroy on Saturday, August 26th, at 10 a.m. with Father John Sharp Celebrant. Interment to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the All Saints Parish Building Fund or charity of choice.
