Obituary of Eric Mitchell

Peacefully at Sprucedale Care Centre on Monday, October 9, 2006, Eric Samuel Mitchell of Strathroy, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Violet (Hymers) Mitchell (1976). Dear father of Dianne Moore (Harold) of Tillsonburg, Beverly Hatt (Carl) of Cambridge and Barry Mitchell (Dorothy) of Strathroy. Son of the late Smith and Agnes Mitchell. Survived by sister Isabelle Woods of London. Predeceased by brothers Robert and Stewart. Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A private funeral service will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Thursday, October 12th, with Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Eric.
