Obituary of Rolande Melville

Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Thursday, August 30, 2007. Rolande Melville (nee Lemaire) of Strathroy and formerly Timmins, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Francis Melville of Strathroy. Loving mother of Joanne Melville (Roland Lefort) of Timmins and Patricia Melville of Toronto and grandmother of Danielle, Jocelyne, Michelle and Victoria. Dear sister of Gaetane MacMillan (Al) and Robert Lemaire (Eileen). Also survived by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and many good friends. Predeceased by her parents Edgar and Emma (Deslauriers) Lemaire and her brothers and sisters; Wilfrid, Simone, Edmond and Suzanne. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, September 2 from 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, September 3 at 11 AM with Fr. Jorge Chimbinda officiating. Cremation to follow. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
