Obituary of Jacob Grosscurt

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, October 13, 2007, Jacob (Jim) Grosscurt of Strathroy, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Ina Grosscurt (1988). Dearly loved father of son Robert (1968), George and Clara of Ilderton, and Ina and Hugh Dodge of Kerwood. Jim will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Gerald and his wife Danica of London, Shawn and his wife Carla of Strathroy, Julie and her husband Adam of St. Catharines, Amy and Lindsay, and four great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Corry and her husband Jerry Hoogmoed of Kelowna, B.C. Predeceased by his sister Tina Smit of Holland. Friends will be received by the family on Monday from 6-9 p.m. at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W, Strathroy, 245-1023, where the funeral will take place on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 1p.m. with Rev. Charlie Seed officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Memorial donations to Strathroy Hospital or charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
