Sincerest condolences to Jo-Ann and family. Sorry I couldn’t make it to Brian’s Memorial service.
It was always a pleasure to speak with Brian due to his easy going demeanour and quiet sense of humour. His physical presence will certainly be missed, but his positive effect on family & friends will live on. RIP Brian.

Very very sorry to hear of Brian's passing, it came as a shock to me. I had only know Brian for a short while as we were both involved in 1812 re-enacting. We shared similar interests and had the same love of good whiskey. Brian, I had just gotten to know you over the past year and was looking forward to so much more discussions with you.
To Joanne and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your husband will be so very much missed!!
Love and prayers to you and the family..

Brian was an active member of HMS Psyche’s boat crew. His enthusiasm and his mechanical and carpentry knowledge was well respected amongst us. We will miss him.

I always enjoyed working with Brian. Getting that call for work in the middle of the night was made so much better to hear he was my engineer. He could make the worst trips glide by. Great stories and conversations the whole night long. I can’t recall him EVER being upset or angry. He was a gentle soul and he will be missed.

I only got to meet Brian a few times through a mutual passion we had, sailing. But, in those few occasions, I found out that he was indeed, a fine man. I am glad to have met him. I will miss whatever adventures we would have had on PSYCHE.

Brian was a kind soul, always good natured and always found a way to make me smile and laugh in our world of railroading. I was always impressed with his fondness for his family, his friends and his hobbies. My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed at the morning breakfasts at Katies. Timothy Organ
