Obituary of Marilyn Jean Schlegel

Marilyn J. Schlegel

April 14, 1940 - February 24, 2024

Peacefully, at Stratford General Hospital, with her daughters by her side, Marilyn took her last breath and joined her husband  Wayne (1992), son Gary (2021) and parents William and Rena Sills for all of eternity.  Marilyn leaves behind her daughters Dawn (Doug) Cameron, Sandy Thomson and Lori Schlegel to cherish the loving memories.  Much loved grandmother of Cara (Jamie), Dani (Dustin), Pam (Jason), Lindsay (Chris), Adam (Elisha), Derrick (Katie) and Evan (Beca) and great-grandmother to 17.  Cherished sister of Shirley Campbell (Percy), Elaine Bedard (Rick), the late Diane Lantz (the late Allan Lantz) and Bonnie Basley (Mike) and Sister-in-law to Marilyn Gingerich (the late Carl), Ron Schlegel (the late Barb), Jan Mueller (Art), and Ernie Schlegel (Joyce).  Marilyn will be remembered by many nephews and nieces.  

In honoring our mother's wishes, there will be no visitation.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Donations to Stratford General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
