Obituary of Eric George Slater

Slater, Eric "Sonny"

Passed away peacefully in his 79th year, with his faithful companion Buddy by his side, on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.  Husband of the late Dawn (2018).

Sonny is remembered by his son Rob (Aimie) and his daughter Vicki (Frank).

Proud Papa and Grandpa to Ashley (Hunter), Vanessa (Adam) & Zac (Vanessa)

Sonny was the brother of Margaret Anne (Murray) & Shirley (Rob) and the brother-in-law of Ruth.

He is predeceased by his brother Lewis and his parents Eric & Marguerite.

Sonny will be sadly missed and always remembered by his many nieces, nephews and his friends.

Sonny was an avid outdoorsman.  He was happiest when he was hunting or fishing.

Sonny worked for Lang's for over 15 years and loved his kids on the bus.

At this time, cremation has taken place, with a celebration of life to be held in the near future.
