Bowman, Margaret Joyce
Passed away peacefully with her family at her side at University Hospital, London on December 21, 2023, at the wonderful age of 94. Loving wife of the late Dr. Gordon R. Bowman (1971). Cherished mother of Paul (Lynn) Bowman, Ruth (Greg) Strapp and Steve (Kim) Bowman. Proud Grandma of David (Diana), Laura (Adam), Meghan (Jeremy), Mark, Belinda (Jeremy), Scott (Maureen) and Paula (Joel). Special GG to her 13 great grandchildren. Loving sister-in-law and friend to Donna Evans. Predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law Fern and Bill Concannon, Gloria and Bev Urbshott, Bob Evans and Diane and Les Charlton. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG on January 5th, 2024 from 12:00pm until time of memorial service at 1:00pm. A private family interment to take place at Carlisle Cemetary in the spring. Margaret’s favorite place was her cherished cottage at Rondeau Park where she enjoyed nature and countless good times with her friends and family. As a nature lover, she supported the Canadian Wildlife Federation and more locally, Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation. She was also a member of Oakridge Presbyterian Church and drew great support and comfort from its clergy and congregation.
