After leaving the Bank of Commerce in 1974, Jack and Janet purchased and operated McIntosh Lunch and Variety in Poplar Hill. Better known as “Jack Macs” for years. He then moved on to Coldstream Concrete as their office manager until he retired in 1997. Jack was an avid lawn bowler for most of his life, winning numerous tournaments and even went on to represent Ontario in the Canadian Championships.

Many thanks to Dr. John Denstedt, Dr. Michael Lock, Dr. Scott Ernst and the numerous nurses at the London Cancer Centre for their kindness and care. Nurse Beth, you provided Jack with comfort with your compassion and sense of humor during his treatments, and we are very grateful for that. Special thanks to Dr. Bryan Dias, your calls, visits and around the clock availability, you went above and beyond.  To Dads’ numerous family members and friends, thank you for your calls and visits over the past few months. We know it meant the world to dad.
