Obituary of Harry Desjardine

Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy on July 8, 2008, Harry Desjardine, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Marion Desjardine. Loving father of Carolyn (Gary) Jubenville of London, Sandra (Doug) Goldsmith of London and Grant Desjardine of Strathroy. Dearly loved by his grandchildren Mike (Val) Jubenville, Ann Marie (Rob) Brown, Brent Goldsmith, Crystal (Glen) Heise and Tanya Desjardine. Cherished great-grandfather of Mark, Stephanie, Alyssa and Shaylin Brown; Kyra and Ryan Audet; Jessie, Jacob, Tyler and Ryan Heise. He will also be warmly remembered by his brothers Murton (Myrtle) of Tiverton, Keith (Grace) of London and sister Joy Mason of Hensal, as well as sisters-in-law Madeline Desjardine of Crediton and Audrey Desjardine of Atwood. Predeceased by his parents Lesume Desjardine (1969) and Ella (Kipfer) Desjardine (1987), brothers Louis, Byron, Herman, Ivan, Noris and Iann and sister Marion. Visitation will be held in Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W, Strathroy, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday July 10, 2008 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Don MacPherson officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
