To the family of Mr. Bailey,
I had many chats with your your father/grandfather when I grew up on Ivan Drive as well as years later when I would be on my way to visit my parents and I would pass him out for a walk. He was a very nice gentleman and someone I really enjoyed talking to.
He will be missed.
Thinking of your family.
Rest easy, Mr. Bailey.

So very saddened by the loss of Carlton. We met Carlton when we first moved to the area, a friendly man who walked vanneck rd every day. We used to stop in to chat with him before or after his walk. He will be missed but forever in our hearts. Wishing his family all the good memories.

To Mike,
We send our deepest sympathy to you and your family, on the passing of your dear father. A few years back, while the Vanneck Rd. was under construction, he used to park his car in our laneway (off the Bear Creek) and do his walks from there. I had the pleasure of enjoying several conversations with him at that time ,as I was often there, or bicycling the same route. A very sweet, kind gentleman. He will be missed by all who knew him, either by name or wave. Rest in peace Mr. Bailey
Sincerely,
Gerald and Brenda Lenders

Sorry to hear of Carlton’s passing. We enjoyed having him as a neighbour on Vanneck Road and as a member of Vanneck Church. Everyday, rain or shine, you could see Carlton out on his long walks and he would always have a wave and a nod of his head as I drove by.
