Obituary of Robert Davies

At LHSC (University Campus) on Wednesday, August 6, 2008. Robert Elmer Wilmer Davies of Glencoe and formerly Nairn in his 76th year, passed into the presence of his Heavenly Father. Beloved husband of Myrtle (Wagler). Dear dad of Bonnie and Wayne Paterson, Brad and Jody Davies, Jennifer and Darren De'Ath and Shelley and Darren Osburn. Dear grandpa of Delia and Mark McPhail, Ben Paterson, Ted Paterson and fiance Melynda Saunders, Karis, Kristen, Taylor and Makayla Davies, Stacy and Dan Raszga, Mitchell, Tara, Melanie and Lindsey Osburn. Dear brother of Marilyn and Bill Heaman and brother-in-law of Elaine and Abe Stouffer, Delores and Dan Euler, and Marylou and Claude Phaneuf. Bob is survived by his aunts Elizabeth Wiseman and Elsie Davies as well as several nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Friday, August 8 from 2-4 and 7-9PM where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Darren Osburn officiating. Interment in Nairn Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Bible Society would be appreciated.
