Obituary of Jessie Miller

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie Catherine Miller at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on August 13, 2008, in her 97th year. Jessie was predeceased by her husband Alvin Miller (1979) and her parents Alex and Esther Purves, brothers Harold and Elliott, and sister Maimie Roulston. She is survived by her children Douglas and Kathy Miller of Victoria, B.C. and Donna and Leslie Campbell of Strathroy and their families: 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Jessie was a long time devoted member of Strathroy United Church, and was a life member of the U.C.W. She will be missed by her many friends and relatives. Funeral Service will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St, W, Strathroy on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 3 o'clock. with Rev Charles Seed officiating. Visitation at the funeral home 1 hour prior to service. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations may be made to the CNIB or Canadian Lung Association.
