Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, Violet Marie Moffat (Collins) of Strathroy. Predeceased by her husband Douglas (2007). Loving mother of Thomas (Peggy) Moffat of London, Susan (Chuck) Pinkerton of Strathroy, and Judy Micks of Strathroy. Cherished grandmother of Douglas (Meredith) Moffat of Montreal and Jennifer Moffat of London. Great-grandma of Jacob. Dear sister of Edith, Jean and Evelyn. Predeceased by her parents Oscar and Mary Ellen Collins and siblings Ila, Clarence, Jenny and Grant, as well as son-in-law Allan Micks. The Funeral Service will be held in Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St, W., Strathroy, on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Roger Gast officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 1 hour prior to service. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital or the Bethel Baptist Church Mission Fund would be appreciated by the family.
