Obituary of Betty Parkin

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday August 16, 2008. Betty Irene (White) Parkin of Coldstream in her 80th year. Beloved wife of George Parkin. Dear mother of Michael and Sandra Parkin of RR #1 Ilderton, Tom and Cindy Parkin of New Hamburg and Gary and Karin Parkin of Guelph. Loving grandmother of Kevin, Noah and Ebonee, Tammy and Mike, Tim and Jessica and loving great-grandmother of Bradley and Danica. Sister of Ruby Drake (Roy deceased), Ila Parsons (Howard) and Shirley Eastabrook (Glenn). Predeceased by her father and mother Tom and Laura White, sister Norma Dowding (Herb) and an infant brother Tommy. Sister-in-law of Isabel (Roy) and Jean (George). Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home Strathroy on Monday August 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 19 at 1 PM with Pastor Bruce Gibb officiating. Interment in Poplar Hill Cemetery. Donations to the London Regional Cancer Program or Poplar Hill Christian Church would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted at Poplar Hill Christian Church as a living memorial to Betty.
