Obituary of Darla May Van Deuren
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, Darla May Van Deuren, who was born sleeping on December 26th, 2021.
Words cannot describe the love we have for her. From the second we found out we were pregnant with her and forever going forward, Darla will always be with us, forever our little girl. She was absolutely perfect, resembling her big brother, Alton, with a full head of hair, little button nose and beautiful blue eyes. She was everything we could have dreamed of, and more.
She is deeply loved by many including her parents Summer and Adam Van Deuren, big brother Alton Van Deuren, grandparents Julie Barton, Mark (Kelly) Barton, Anne and John Van Deuren, and loving aunts, uncles, and great grandparents. We are all so lucky to have such a beautiful angel watching over us.
We would like to thank all of the staff that helped us at LHSC and the midwives of MOMA. Your care and compassion during this very difficult time will never be forgotten.
We are comforted in knowing Darla is in a better place with people who love us and that we will one day get to hold our sweet baby girl again.
As expressions of sympathy, donations are welcome to Preeclampsia Canada; as Darla’s family is passionate in further research for HELLP Syndrome. Donations also may be made to the London Health Sciences Centre, Birthing & Triage Unit.
Private family services will be held for Darla May.
“I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.”
