Obituary of Bob Thomson

Peacefully, with family by his side at Jessica’s House, Exeter Robert “Bob” Thomson passed away at the age of 69. Loving husband of the late Nancy Thomson (2018) for 47 years. Beloved father of Jennifer Thomson (Jim MacKichan), Joanne (Marty) Preece and Michael Thomson. Survived by his grandchildren Cassandra (Lucas), Tyler, Megan and Cayden. Dear son of Ellen Thomson. Survived by his sisters Nancy (Dave) Payne and Donna (John) Van Massenhoven. Bob will be sadly missed by many extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his father John Robert Thomson (1999).

The family would like to thank Sherri McRoberts, nurse Valery along with all the staff and volunteers at Jessica’s House for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Bob during his stay there.

Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG on Thursday, September 30^th, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Nairn Cemetery on Friday, October 1^st, 2021 at 11 a.m. Please join the family on Friday following the graveside at 11274 Fernhill Drive, Denfield; from 2-6 p.m. to celebrate a life well lived. Everyone in attendance is required to show photo ID and proof of full vaccination for the celebration of life.
