My Dad will be missed very much. Throughout my life he has helped me a lot and taught me a lot.
Numerous times he has assisted me in getting employment while trying to find my way in life.
But more importantly, he helped my buy my first motorcycle and attempted to teach me how to ride it.
After all the help, I am still riding 51 years later.

Derek has 6 children, Derek Alan (born the same year as Cheryl), Michael, MaryAnn, Debra, Anthony and April, all born before Derek met Cheryl, who greatly love and miss their father, who were not even informed of his death. In addition, these 6 children have many grand children, who in most cases never met Derek, but still miss or missed him. For 48 years of marriage these children and grand children have been denied and erased. This is not to say Cheryl was not otherwise a good wife to Derek. She probably was.
