Surrounded by her loving family at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday, May 14, 2009. Grace Johanna Kassies in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late John Kassies Sr. (2000). Dear mother of John and Lorie Kassies of Clinton, Martha and Dave Bricker of Kitchener, Rita and Walter Leppington of Clinton, Jerry and Dorothy Kassies of London, Ron Kassies of Londesboro and his friend Irene, Andy and Fran Kassies of Ilderton, Angeline and John Langendoen of Hamilton and daughter-in-law Trudy Kassies of Clinton. Oma of 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Survived by 3 brothers and 5 sisters and their families in Holland and 3 brothers-in-law and 1 sister-in-law and their families in Holland. Friends will be received at the Westmount Christian Reformed Church, 405 Drury Lane, Strathroy on Tuesday, May 19 from 6:30 PM to 9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20 at 2 PM with Rev. Anthonie Vanden Ende officiating. Interment in Clinton Cemetery will take place Wednesday morning at 10 AM. Donations to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
