Obituary of Donald Giles

Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Friday, May 15, 2009 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Donald Arthur Percy Giles of Strathroy in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Joyce Ellen Giles (Bond) and the late Lillian Giles (Deauvall) (1962). Loving father of June (Ray) Denning of Strathroy, Joyce (Larry (2003)) Phillips of Corunna and John (Linda) Giles of Iona Station and step-father of Dennis James Straine-Frances. Don will be missed by his 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. He is also survived by several cousins and will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Don was a life long resident of Middlesex County and the last member of his immediate family. Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME, STRATHROY on Tuesday, May 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20 at 1 PM with Pastor Roger Gast and Thelma Perry officiating. Interment to follow in Bothwell Cemetery. Donations to your charity of choice would be appreciated.
