Obituary of Edith Armour

of Fiddicks Nursing Home, Petrolia, passed peacefully on Wednesday August 5, 2009 at the age of 91. Wife of the late Thomas Armour. Dearly loved mother of Arlene Nelson and her husband Don. Predeceased by her daughter Nancy Jamieson, step-son Tom and son-in-law Robert Corbett. Edith was born in Strathroy and predeceased by her parents Frank and Maude Moore, six brothers and one sister. She is survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Monday, August 10, 2009 from 9-11 a.m. where the Service will commence at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or the Charity of Choice.
