Obituary of Antje Kingma

Peacefully, surrounded by family at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Thursday, September 17, 2009 Antje Kingma (nee Greidanus) at the age of 89. Loving wife of the late Rimmer Kingma for 55 years. Beloved mother of Patsy (Hugh) Pranger, Jerry (Mary Ann) Kingma, Wilma (Wick) Hamstra, Gretchen (Gary) Van Arragon, Ruth (Hank) Haan, Corrie (John) Beintema. Predeceased by daughter Pietje Kingma. Dear grandmother of 30 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren and 2 step great-great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Jacobje Draaisma (nee Greidanus) and sister-in-law Jeltje Stienstra (nee Kingma) of Holland. Friends will be received at Providence United Reformed Church , 447 Second Street, Strathroy, on Sunday, September 20th from 6:30-9:00 pm where a funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st at 1:00 pm with Reverend Harry Zekveld officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Strathroy Community Christian School. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Anne.
