Obituary of Hendrika Wiendels

Peacefully at her home on Friday, January 29, 2010, Hendrika "Mary" Wiendels (nee Van den Hoven) of Strathroy at the age of 75. Loving wife of the late Ray Gerardus Wiendels (2006). Beloved mother and grandmother of Betty and Tanya Wiendels, Nick and Colleen, Julia, Laura and Lisa Wiendels, Tilly and Bill, Yvonne, Joyce, Gregory and Jacklyn Scheurman, George and Rianne, Erika, Monique and Marc Wiendels, Maria and Lane, Ben, Jonathan and Daniel Lemon, John and his friend Debra, Christie and Samantha Wiendels and Pauline and Jo, Riley, Kolton and Evan Slegers. Dear sister of John and Anne Van den Hoven of Sarnia, Gerda and the late Frans (1995) Weisscher of the Netherlands, Martha and the late Frank (2005) Fracalanza of Sarnia, Adrian and Monica Van den Hoven of Kingsville, Mary and the late John Van Veen of Woodstock, Theresa and Herman Naus of Strathroy, Bill Van den Hoven of Petrolia and Nelly and Bud Hyde of Sarnia. Sister-in-law of the late Hank (2002) and Truus Wiendels, Annie and the late Hein (2005) Hendriksen, Mies Van Langen, Gerrit and Alie Wiendels, Mary Wiendels, Jo and Mini Wiendels all of the Netherlands. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, on Monday, February 1st from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with Parish Prayers at 6:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy, on Tuesday, February 2nd at 11:00 am with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Strathroy and District Right to Life or to a charity of your choice.
