Obituary of Clarence Robinson

On February 1, 2010, Clarence Leslie Robinson age 84 went to be with his Lord and Savior. He will be greatly missed by his "Sunshine" June (Pollard) who he married on April 6 1945. Clarence was a devoted father to Jonathan and Marilyn Robinson of Strathroy, William Robinson of Toronto, and Muriel and David Harwood of Strathroy. Proud Granddad and Great Granddad to Julie and Wayne Xion and their children of Sudbury, Aaron Harwood of Strathroy, Karen and Simon Slater of Edmonton Alberta and Ruth-Ann Harwood of Strathroy. Clarence was a brother to Elwyn and Margaret Robinson of Cottam and brother in law to David and June Pollard of Strathroy and Barbara (the late Robert) Pollard of British Columbia. He was love and respected by his nieces, nephews and cousins on both sides of the family. Friends will be received on Thursday, February 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, where a funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Friday, February 5th at 11:00 am with Dr. Brian McKenzie officiating. Private family interment will take place at a later time in Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
