Obituary of George Matthews

Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at LHSC (Victoria Campus) on Thursday, February 4, 2010. George D. Matthews of Kerwood in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Betty (Morgan). Loving father of Brian and Jeannine, Wayne and Reneé and Larry and Sandra. Cherished grandfather of Ryan and Cameron and Tyler and Jake. Dear brother of James and his wife Dorothy and the late Burton and his wife Lois. Will also be missed by his extended family and many friends. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, February 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Monday, February 8 at 11 AM with Rev. Tom Anderson officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Kerwood would be appreciated by the family.
