We were shocked to hear of Kim's passing; our deepest condolences to Kevin, Ryan, Shane and Connor, & also to her sister Melanie Vail, Mike and family; and to the Maguire family. We've known Kim for many yrs., dating back to living in Nairn over 30 yrs. ago, as our kids went to school together. We had just been commenting that we hadn't seen her in town in a while, as she was in Ailsa Craig almost daily doing laundry etc...''for the boys''. There was no mistaking the sound of that truck rolling up to our corner; & Kim always had a smile, a wave, or short conversation. She indeed was a hard worker, & we know she put in countless hrs. of volunteer work over the yrs. Always the optimist, she could chuckle at hardships, & she certainly knew her way around nature's bounty by growing & canning for her family, & she had a love & knowledge of plants, trees, etc. She dropped by one day a few yrs. ago now, with roots and seedlings for me, and for sure I will think of her when I wander our own yard noting the growth and flowers. We are so sorry for your loss. She will be missed.
