Obituary of Maria Baran

At Four Counties Hospital, Newbury on Monday, May 30, 2011, Maria (Steranka) Baran of Melbourne, passed away, in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Dmytro Baran. Loving mother of Alex and Elizabeth Baran of Melbourne and Linda Baran of Strathroy. Predeceased by her son Michael (2002). Cherished grandmother of Alexander, Tania, Dimitrius, Vanessa, Stephen, Cynthia, Matthew, Daniel and Alicia. Great-grandmother of Julian, Tatyanna, Joseph, Bradley, Haylee, Tia, Rianna, Adrian and Noah. Predeceased by her 2 granddaughters Natasha and Anna Baran (1979) as well as her parents Michael and Maria Steranka and her brother Ludwik. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Friday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. In memory of Maria, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
