Obituary of Douglas Herdman

Peacefully at home in Caledonia, Ontario on Friday, November 21, 2003, Douglas Russel Herdman in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy Lee (Hicks) Herdman and dear father of Janet and Jeff Gile of Geraldton, Lynn and Mark Twohey of Meaford, Jo-Anne and Jeff Donovan of Hamilton and Lisa Herdman of Caledonia. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Danny, Shannon, Ashley, Douglas, Kathleen and Grace, David and Matthew. Great-grandfather of Ethan. Loving brother of Fred, Mildred, Mae, Aileen, Phyllis, and Louise. A memorial service will be held from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 34 Head Street, Strathroy on Monday, November 24 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Fr. Willi K.F. Kammerer officiating. Interment of ashes in Strathroy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated. Denning Bros. Funeral Home Strathroy entrusted with arrangements 245-1023. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Douglas.
