At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, October 30, 2005. Orland George Akins of Strathroy, formerly of Wainfleet, ON, age 91. Beloved husband of Myrtle (Branton). Dear father and grandfather of Ruth (Jim) Clark and their children Elizabeth and Mary Jane of Blenheim, Allan and his son Brent of London; Donald (Nancy) and their children Kyle and Brian of Owen Sound; Joan (Terry) Plant and their children Jolene and Shannon of Watford. Survived by his brother Lorne Akins of Wainfleet. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral service which will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, November 1 at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Father Willi Kammerer officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
