Obituary of Freda Galsworthy

Peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday May 4, 2007 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH), Freda in her 91st year. Graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing and former Nursing Supervisor of SMGH. She retired in 1981. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Galsworthy (1968). Loving daughter of the late Fred & Eliza Brent. Sister of the late Gordon Brent. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of Kenneth & Nancy Galsworthy and their children Carrie & Mike (Nicholas), Jon & Ingrid (Hayley & Paige), Peter & Jayme (Andrew, Evan, Cecilia); Elizabeth & Wray Taylor and their children Lonny & Julie (Megan & Keith), Steven & Melodie, Lisa & Dan and Sean & Bronwyn; Lynda & Lee Augsbury; Marilyn & Dan Coward and their children Jillian, Rebecca & Jody. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Anna Brent. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W (245-1023), on Monday, May 7 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Freda's life will be held at St. Ann's Anglican Church, Adelaide on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Willi Kammerer officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In memory of Freda, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation, M.S Society or the SMGH Foundation.
