Obituary of Lillian Down

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, June 16th, 2007 surrounded by her family. Lillian Elizabeth (Betty) Down (Dennis) of Strathroy in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Roy Down (2003). Dear mother of Marlene Dorrestyn, Karen Mussell (Jim) and Gerry Down (Diane) all of Strathroy. Loving grandmother of Shaun Dorrestyn (Heather Judge), Chris Dorrestyn (Mckinleigh Dew), Wendy Brewster (Brad), Melissa Mussell, Andrea Down and Kyle Down; great grandmother of Danielle Brewster. Fondly remembered by her sisters Dorothy Zavitz (Walter) and Francis Bender (Gerald) all of Strathroy and sister in law Leola Smith (Russell) as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W Strathroy on Monday, June 18th, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 19th, at 1 PM with Rev. Jock Tolmay officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital CT Scanner Fund would be appreciated by the family.
