Obituary of Mary Verhoeven

It is with great sadness the family of Mary Verhoeven announces her passing on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital at the age of 93. Beloved wife of Cornelius Verhoeven (1977). Much loved mother of Jim & Cathy Verhoeven, Nellie & John Vander Velden, Anne Ossel & Harry (2006), Bernard (1998) & Elly Verhoeven, Mia & John Van Heeswyk, and Cory Verhoeven. Predeceased by son-in-law Ed Vanden Biggelaar (1997). Loving Oma of 18 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Survived by many relatives in Holland and Canada. Mary will be resting at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W, Strathroy on Monday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass of Celebration will take place on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 11 AM at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Michael Kiszko as celebrant. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. Parish prayers will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In memory of Mary, donations may be made to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
