Suddenly at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, January 7, 2009. Betty Pearl Van Damme of Strathroy in her 47th year. Beloved wife of Joe Van Damme. Loving mother of Andrea and Steve Sproule, Steven and Derek. Dear sister of Ed and Linda Muxlow and their children Vicki and Adrian Proulx (Tyler, Jocelyn) and Carrie Muxlow, Peter Muxlow and Doug and Matilda Muxlow and their children Michele and Christina. Daughter- in-law of Angela Van Damme. Sister-in-law of Mary and Andre Kosynski, Marg and Bob Robinson and their children Angela and Jeff Richter (Emma, Dylan), Erika and Paul Fawcett (Kaitlyn), and Kevin Tanton, Matilda and Doug Muxlow (Michele, Christina), Marilyn Van Damme, Monica and Grant Delmage (Laura and Dennis Glithero), Marian Van Damme (Jimmy, Megan), Jeannette Van Damme (Mandy, Melanie, Bryan, Bradley, Michael), Michele and Dave Gillard (Emily, Kaitlyn, Paul, Joey), Jacqueline and Sean Scott (Alexandra, Matthew, Jared), James and Kelly Van Damme (Daniel, Damien) and Joanne Van Damme and friend Cory (Emily, Robert). Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Vera Muxlow, brothers-in-law; Hugh Thomson and Bill Glithero, nephew Nathan Gillard and father-in-law Joe Van Damme. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, January 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, January 12, 2009 at 11 AM with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery to follow. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
