Rosa, Ricardo Jose' - Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Tuesday January 27, 2009. Ricardo Jose' Rosa of Strathroy and formerly of Pico, Azores in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Esmalia Rosa (Monteiro)(1993). Dear father of Maria Ricardinha Rosa. Dear uncle of Maria Couto and brother in law of Jacinta Monteiro. Survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews in the Azores, Canada and U.S.A. Ricardo was predeceased by two brothers and a sister and was the son of Augusto and Maria do Rosario Rosa. Friends will be received at the DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME, STRATHROY on Wednesday January 28, 2009 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Parish prayers will be said at 7:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Thursday January 29, 2009 at 11:00am with Father Lucio Couto, Celebrant. Interment to follow at All Saints Roman Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Ricardo.
