Obituary of Grace Borgh

The Lord has taken his child Grietje "Grace" Vander Borgh (nee Oldenziel) into His eternal presence on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital in her 101st year. Loving wife of the late Solke Vander Borgh (1998). Beloved mother of Jean (Adrian) Van Geest of Hamilton, Ontario, John Vander Borgh of Houston Texas, Winnie Vander Borgh of Humble, Texas, Herman (Marjorie) Vander Borgh of Listowel, Ontario, Nettie (Jerry) Kiers of Lethbridge, Alberta, and Rita (Jerry) Kavanaugh of Amherstburg, Ontario. Survived by 17 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Christian Reformed Church, 476 Metcalfe Street East, Strathroy where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 5th at 11:00 am with Pastor Andrew deGelder officiating. Private family interment will take place. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Strathroy Community Christian School or Christian Reformed World Relief Committee. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Grietje.
