Obituary of Russell Calcutt

Peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family Russell Lloyd Calcutt went to be with his Lord and Saviour in his 74th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Maria (Ataide). Loving father and mentor to Alan (Elenaide) and Hilda Calcutt. Proud and loving Grandpa to Nadyeine and Adriana Calcutt. Uncle Buck to numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Margaret (Young) Calcutt, and brothers Ernest, Donald and Ronald Calcutt. Surviving siblings Ross (Ricky) Calcutt, Kenneth (Lynn) Calcutt, Joanne (Floyd) Moore, Mary Rouble, Lyla (Ron) Clark-Smith, Norman (Phyllis) Calcutt. Friends will be received at Denning Brothers Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, August 19th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Russell's life will be held at First Baptist Church (20 Centre Street West, Strathroy) on Friday, August 20th at 2 pm. Interment at the Strathroy Cemetery will follow the service. Donations in Russell's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Children's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
