Obituary of José Faria

Peacefully, after a short battle with cancer, on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. José Faria of Strathroy in his 85th year. Beloved husband for 59 years to the late Maria Faria (2011) of Strathroy and dear father of Alda Rebelo (Joe) and Tony Faria (Liz) all of Strathroy. Loving grandfather of Gregory, Stacey (Ermal), Zachary, Rachelle and Justin and great grandfather of Isaiah, Braylon, Mateo, Sebastian, Caleb and Alexander. José is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Palmira and Manuel Dutra of the Azores. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Monday, January 9 from 6 pm to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Tuesday, January 10 at 11 am with Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Parish prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday at 5:30 pm. Donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
