Obituary of Georgina Baxter

Peacefully at Strathroy Hospital with her daughters by her side, on January 9, 2012, Georgina (Jo) Josephine Alberta Baxter (nee Potter) of Strathroy, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Murray Baxter (1992). Loving mother of Maggie and Tony DesRoches of Strathroy, Gloria Magee of Strathroy, Marlene Giesbrecht and Dave Brown of St. Thomas, Marilyn Clark and Bill Smith of St. Thomas, Valerie Stratton and George Thompson of Tillsonburg, Connie and Pete Kustermans of Tillsonburg and Bonnie and Fred Fisher of Muncey. Dearly missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Maxine Blain. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment to follow in Watford Cemetery. In memory of Jo, donations may be made to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation.
