Obituary of Mary Chase

Peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2012, with her family at her side, Mary Louise Chase, in her 83rd year, went to be with the Lord and reunite with her beloved husband, Douglas James Chase (1982). Cherished mother of Nancy and Rick Guy, Aaron Chase and Mary Ann Payne-Chase, and Sarah and Henry Doucette. Loving grandmother of Jordan and Kelly, Elissa and Joe, Angela, Tyler and Shauna, Amielia, Wesley and Douglas. Special great-grandmother of Megan, Tim, Ariel and Joey. Predeceased by her brothers Walter, Robert, James and Harold, and survived by her sisters-in-law Betty Noble, Muriel Noble and "the Chase girls" Rose, Louise and Vicki and many nieces and nephews. Mary was a lifetime member of the Women's Institute and the Ilderton United Church Women who worked tirelessly for her faith, family and community. The family would like to express a heartfelt thankyou to the exceptional 3rd floor care team at Extendicare, London for their many kindnesses to Mom and her family throughout her stay and during her passing. Friends and family are invited to call at the T.Stephenson Funeral Home, 171 Main Street, Ailsa Craig, N0M 1A0, on Friday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Interment in Littlewood Cemetery, Ilderton. Memorial donations to the Parkinson's Society or the Ilderton United Church Memorial Fund would be gratefully accepted.
